This month we will begin recommending a new SBGrid Workstation configuration, built around the Intel Core 2 Duo architecture. The new workstation setup utilizes a high-end Intel motherboard, a dual-core Intel processor and 2GB of high-speed memory. The system will also feature an upgraded power supply. Our recommended system continues to include the same NVidia graphics card options and 20" LCD display.

The new configuration will be available for download from our website by the end of this week. Members will be able to purchase this specifically configured machine from the vendor at a special SBGrid price. The previous configuration was successful and purchased by many members.
