The role of water molecules in protein preparation, docking, and scoring
Tuesday, January 12th at 12pm EST
Woody Sherman
Vice President Principal Scientist
Schrodinger, Inc.
Host: Piotr Sliz
Water plays an essential role in biology, but the most appropriate way to incorporate water molecules into structure-based drug design approaches is not always clear. In this presentation, we will discuss the role of water molecules in protein preparation, docking, and scoring. We will focus on selected case studies where the treatment of explicit water molecules was …

SBGrid has been working to develop an easy-to-use Laptop Installer to install BioGrids and SBGrid software.
Mick Timony will demo a version of the installer for Harvard Medical School's BioGrids users at Thursday Poster Session at the BCMP Departmental Retreat the week of October 26, 2015.
Email help@sbgrid.org
for more information.
The current BETA version works on Mac OS Yosemite 10.10 or newer. It will NOT work on Mac OS Mavericks 10.9 or older, we plan to support Mac OS 10.9 in a future release.
Currently, we have a version of the Beta Version of the Installer available for members of The Harvard Medical School Community which contains the BioGrids Software Collection (which is only for the HMS Community at this time).
Downloads are available until Friday October …
