We have just added a new version of EMAN for Linux. Please check http://ncmi.bcm.tmc.edu/~stevel/EMAN/doc/ for 1.6 release notes. According to release notes there still seem to be some problems running under RH9 with Gnome. KDE has no problems.

We have switched both Linux and SGI distribution to the newest release of O. If you want to use older version, setup the following variables in your labcshrc file before sourcing sbgrid_cshrc file.

setenv O_VERSION 8.0.11
