Dear Consortium Members and Affiliates,
Software additions, upgrades, and updates will be sent to your site on Friday night, February 16. This month, you will receive an SBGrid optimized compilation of CNS 1.2 along with updates to several titles. Also, we have licensed AMBER 9.0 for all SBGrid members and will be making it available with this update.
Immediately after receiving the software updates this Friday, you will be using the newest installed versions. If there are any problems, please report them (http://www.sbgrid.org/bugs). You can always switch to an older version of the application while we work on your request—just use ‘sbgrid –n’ for more information. Many of these monthly updates and additions are prompted by member requests, so please do not hesitate to request new applications (http://www.sbgrid.org/req).
Please continue reading to learn about the new SBGrid workstation based around the Intel Core 2 Duo architecture, new consortium members, and complete details on the software updates.
Kind regards,
Piotr Sliz, Ph.D.
