Overview
SBGrid provides systems administration support for SBGrid-supported Linux computers in the Cohen, Corey, and Moazed labs.
SBGrid also administers one Linux workstation in the Cohen lab and one Linux workstation in the Coey lab. The West Quad Computing Group administers two Linux workstations in the Moazed lab. SBGrid supports the the SBGrid software installed on these machines.
All of these systems are on the HMS Network.
Get Help
For Linux assistance, email SBGrid at help@sbgrid.org, and please include the name of your lab. The Moazed Lab should cc the West Quad Computing Group on any emails to SBGrid.
For all other IT assistance, please contact HMS-IT.

Computers
SBGrid supports Linux systems in the Cohen, Corey, and Mozaed Labs. If you need support for printers or for Mac or Windows systems, please contact HMS-IT support at:
Cohen Lab
SBGrid supports one Linux GPU workstation that is accessible from the HMS network (not from the SBGrid network). This workstation does not have a network account. Users rely on a shared user account.
This workstation is used primarily for running Schrodinger and has a 3TB mirrored /data filesystem.
TODO: Need to determine how this system is backed up.
Corey Lab
SBGrid supports one Linux GPU workstation that is accessible from the HMS network (not from the SBGrid network). This workstation does not have a network account. Users can rely on the shared account or SBGrid can create individual accounts. Please contact Nurunisa Akyuz or Professor David Corey to request access.
Data in the /data and home directories are backed up daily to Dropbox. If data is lost, please contact SBGrid to have files restored.
Moazed Lab
Two Linux workstations are primarily supported by the West Quad Computing Group (WQCG).
Support from WQCG is available via:
The WQCG also completes backups on these machines.
One new Linux GPU Workstation is supported and hosted by the SBGrid and backued up by WQCQ. This is system is stored in SBGrid Network Closet in Building C. Lab members have ssh access through xtal200.harvard.edu to the system which allows them to use the SBGrid software tree to process their data. Any data should be saved in the RAID10 partition and not in the user's home directory. This partition is backed up to HMS storage. If you need access to the GPU system, please email help@sbgrid.org.
Mac
SBGrid does not support Mac systems for these labs. Users should contact HMS-IT for IT Support. To install the SBGrid programs tree on a Mac, please email help@sbgrid.org for assistance.
EM Facility
To access the EM Facility in the basement of SGM, please contact Zongi Li or Melissa Chambers.
If you need a data directory created on the EM systems, please email SBGrid and cc Zongi Li. Please remember that data directories on the EM systems are not backed up. It is essential that you store your data elsewhere.
