SGI Dial Boxes

It's possible, at least in some cases, to use SGI dial boxes on linux with O.

What you need

1. Dial Box
2. Power supply for the dial box
3. Serial to USB adaptor
4. admin access to the system, and awareness that messing around in /dev can cause problems.

What to do

1. add users to appropriate group for /dev/tty* files (dialout)
2. connect dial box and power supply
3. remove /dev/ttyS0
4. create symlink ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/ttyS0
5. Start O , check if dials work.
