XDrawChem

  • Description

    a two-dimensional molecule drawing program for Unix operating systems that can read and write MDL Molfiles, and read ChemDraw text and binary files, to allow sharing between XDrawChem and other chemistry applications, and it can create images in popular formats like PNG and EPS.

  • Usage

    To list all executables provided by XDrawChem, run: $ sbgrid-list xdrawchem Copy to clipboard

  • Usage Notes

    Version 1.10.1 requires a symlink from /usr/local to be in place for icons to appear: Create this like so :

    ln -s /programs/x86_64-linux/xdrawchem/1.10.2/share/xdrawchem /usr/local/share/xdrawchem

    This will likely require root access and my require the assistance of your local sysadmin.
