Overview:

At the Kahne lab, SBGrid provides a comprehensive system administration support for the Linux computers. Authentication is local to the workstations. One of the workstations serves the software tree via NFS to the other workstation.

Get Help

Email the SBGrid at help@sbgrid.org and please include the name of your Lab. For support with software installation please email bugs@sbgrid.org.

New members should contact help@sbgrid.org to complete their initial setup.

Computers

Linux

Setup on Linux Computers: The linux computers authenticate locally and data directories can be only accessed from within the lab. Home directories are located at /home/. The shared data directory is located at /shared. A comprehensive collections of SBGrid applications is located at the /programs directory.

If you need remote access, please contact help@sbgrid.org.

Data is backed up to a local drive and is managed by the current lab administrator.

To report problems regarding the network at Harvard University, or general computing support, contact the Harvard University Help desk or FAS research computing and copy SBGrid in your email.
